Abstract: Facing the policy deployment of talent cultivation, aesthetic education and moral education in China's colleges and universities, based on the important task of ideological and political education, this paper implements the education and teaching task of art major courses in colleges and universities, and studies the integration reform of art benefiting the people and ideological and political education in colleges and universities. This paper expounds the connotation of art benefiting the people in colleges and universities, and summarizes the integration of art benefiting the people and ideological and political education in colleges and universities; carry out the exploration of the top-level design, ideological main line, teaching methods, and teaching feedback in the reform of the integration of art benefits in colleges and ideological and political education; propose the benefits of college art the three major practices of the integration and reform of civil and ideological and political education: relying on the innovative teaching system of colleges and universities, multi-carrier demonstration and practice forms, and multi-directional improvement of the effectiveness of ideological and political education. Art benefiting the people is a kind of practical teaching, through application, theoretical teaching is incorporated into specific operations, and ideological and political education is subtly integrated into professional education and teaching. In this professional education practice teaching, the comprehensive cultivation of first-class and high-quality professional talents is realized.
