Abstract: Cultural confidence is a nation, a country and a political party's full affirmation and active practice of its own cultural value, and firm confidence in its cultural vitality. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the CPC Central Committee has attached great importance to the inheritance and development of fine traditional Chinese culture, proposing to draw spiritual strength from traditional culture and build cultural confidence. Based on the social background of cultural confidence, this paper discusses how to cultivate college students' value confidence in the new era and give full play to the positive role of traditional culture workshops. Therefore, three measures are proposed: absorbing the creative ideas of variety shows, advocating appreciation of excellent film and television works and traditional operas, and encouraging creation.
