Abstract: Education plays a fundamental and guiding role in the joint construction of " the Belt and Road Initiative". The educational exchange and cooperation between China and ASEAN countries is the pillar of promoting cultural exchanges and the best way to promote people-to-people exchanges. "Area" in the propulsion project education, private colleges in Guangxi education cooperation with ASEAN countries made some achievements, but someone is facing a challenge at present, in the next few years, China needs to strengthen education cooperation with ASEAN countries, for China and the association of south-east Asian nations (ASEAN) to build a new chapter of human destiny community to contribute.
