Research on the Ideology and Politics of Higher Mathematics Teaching

Abstract: This paper expounds some misunderstandings about the ideological and political education in higher mathematics. On this basis, this paper puts forward the effective ways to carry out ideological and political education in higher mathematics, such as telling Chinese stories, infiltrating contemporary construction achievements into the classroom, and integrating mathematical characters and mathematical history knowledge into the classroom. The ideological and political education of the course runs through the whole process of pre class, in class and after class teaching activities, which needs to expand the all-round ideological and political education space inside and outside the classroom, online and offline. Finally, it is clear that the construction of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities needs the cooperation of all aspects in order to be effective.
