Exploration and Practice of the Integrate Maker Education Concept into Course of Introduction

Abstract: In the context of "double innovation", college innovation and entrepreneurship courses are an important part of the Maker education ecosystem, and an important starting point for promoting the "landing" of Maker education in China. In view of the current problem of the late introduction of practical courses in engineering education for freshmen, this article takes the introduction of professional course reform as the starting point, integrates the Maker education concept, takes students as the center, and takes project-driven as the starting point, five platforms including practice platform construction, game-in-class integration model, and curriculum evaluation promote teaching reform in an all-round way. This exploration has initially achieved positive results, fully mobilized students' enthusiasm for professional learning, strengthened hands-on practical ability, and established a professional cognitive system.
