Abstract: Since Premier Li Keqiang proposed "Mass entrepreneurship and innovation", colleges and universities have actively set up innovation and entrepreneurship associations. From the beginning of the "small trial" to today's "bold", innovation and entrepreneurship education has gradually become the only way for colleges and universities to transform their production, study and research achievements, and the cultivation of college students' innovation and entrepreneurship ability has gradually become a bridge for young students from school to society. Innovation and entrepreneurship associations play an important role in cultivating college students' innovative spirit, entrepreneurial ability and innovation and entrepreneurship ability. By combing the development of innovation and entrepreneurship associations at home and abroad, this paper summarizes the typical development mode of innovation and entrepreneurship associations in colleges and universities in China, and explores the path to make the construction of innovation and entrepreneurship associations more efficient according to the research results of innovation and entrepreneurship society of Jiangxi University of traditional Chinese medicine.
