Thinking on Improving the Scientific Research and Innovation Ability of Basic Medical Postgraduates under the Background of "Double First Class" Initiative

Abstract: The construction of "double first class" is an important measure in the field of higher education to enhance the comprehensive strength and international competitiveness of China's higher education. In this context, the state has put forward higher requirements for student education in colleges and universities, graduate education is the top priority in higher education. With the development of science and technology and economy in our country and the increasing demand of people for healthy life, China's medical industry is facing new opportunities for development, as well as new challenges. The cultivation of scientific research and innovation ability of basic medical postgraduates not only provides the foundation for them to engage in scientific research independently in the future, but also plays an important role in the development of medical field. This paper analyzes the deficiencies in the process of cultivating the scientific research and innovation ability of basic medical postgraduates in colleges and universities, and attempts to explore the cultivation methods of improving the scientific research and innovation ability of basic medical postgraduates, hoping to provide some theoretical support for the improvement of the cultivation quality of basic medical postgraduates.
