Research on the Value of Standardized Patients in Nursing Practice Teaching

Abstract: ObjectiveTo analyze the application effect of standardized patients in nursing practice teaching. MethodSelect 150 nursing students in school as research subjects (June 2020-December 2020), grouped in chronological order, 75 of them adopt conventional nursing teaching methods and are included in the control group, and a standardized patient teaching model is implemented 75 students from the two groups were included in the observation group. The scores of theoretical examinations and clinical practice examinations of the two groups of nursing students were compared, and the two groups of nursing students’ satisfaction with teaching were compared. ResultsThe theoretical performance and practical performance of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the difference between the groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). The satisfaction rate of the observation group was 97.33% (73/75), and that of the control group was 80.00% (60/75). The difference between the groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). ConclusionThe introduction of standardized patient model in nursing teaching can help improve comprehensive ability, and the students' recognition is high, which can be applied in practice.
