Abstract: More attention needs to be paid on the cultivation of innovative thinking in their undergraduate study of the scientific researchers on which scientific and technological innovation depends. However, the traditional training mode of "teaching and learning" for undergraduates seem not to exhibit specific effect. Project-based interactive teaching, which takes the interaction between teachers and students in classroom teaching as a prerequisite, is based on specific projects. Students can not only master the professional knowledge, but also transfer knowledge to specific engineering projects. At the same time, in the positive interaction between teachers and students, teachers can implement teaching students in accordance with their aptitude. This paper briefly introduced the concept of innovative thinking and a new project-based interactive teaching method. The possible facilitating effect of this teaching method to the cultivation of innovative thinking of undergraduates were also analyzed from three aspects.
