Application of APT Teaching Model in the Teaching of Pharmaceutical Botany

Abstract: APT is a teaching method that integrates teaching process and results, including evaluation methods, teaching methods, and information technology. Pharmaceutical botany is a professional basic course with intuitive and strong practical skills, whereas the content is abstract with too many technical terms. And the current assessment methods for students only focus on the final test scores, and ignore the monitoring and evaluation of the students' learning process. Therefore, selecting appropriate teaching methods, improving examination evaluation methods, and integrating information technology with classroom teaching can greatly stimulate students' interest and increase students' classroom participation to improve teaching quality. This article analyzes the application of the APT information teaching model and the related evaluation system in the teaching of pharmaceutical botany, which provides a new method for the teaching reform of pharmaceutical botany.
