Research on Strategies for Improving the Effectiveness of Subject Competition Management in Universities——Based on the Problem-Oriented Perspective

Abstract: Subject competition is an effective means to promote the cultivation of innovative talents, and has become an important content of college teaching quality assessment. This paper uses questionnaire survey and interview methods to investigate and study the management of discipline competitions in 10 undergraduate universities. The investigation found that factors such as competition management system, competition publicity, weak foundation of participating students, and the level and ability of competition tutors affect the management of discipline competitions. We adhere to problem-oriented management and prescribe the right remedy for problems in management and propose optimization strategies for improvement. Provide guidance and suggestions on the effectiveness of university discipline competition management.
