The Teaching of College English Reading Course based on the Production-Oriented Approach

Abstract: The Production-oriented Approach is a new foreign language teaching theory proposed by Professor Wen Qiufang in 2014 to adapt to China's national conditions. It has high acceptance and good implementation effect. This paper takes Basic English as an example to introduce the Production-oriented Approach into classroom teaching. Combined with classroom teaching experience, this paper summarizes the teaching strategies in Basic English to actively improve the quality of classroom teaching and promote the reform of college English reading courses.
