Abstract: In the new era, in order to solve the employment problem of college students, higher vocational colleges actively promote the innovation and entrepreneurship education, and pay attention to constantly improve the entrepreneurial ability and innovation ability of college students. In this context, to carry out ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges, we also need to innovate models and methods to promote the combination of Ideological and political education and innovation and entrepreneurship education. The purpose of this paper is to train higher vocational students into professional application-oriented talents with good innovation and entrepreneurship quality and excellent comprehensive quality, so as to enhance the future employment competitiveness of higher vocational students. In this regard, based on the background of innovation and entrepreneurship, this paper analyzes the importance of integrating innovation and entrepreneurship into the innovation of Ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges, and explores the effective countermeasures for the innovation of Ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges under the background of innovation and entrepreneurship.
