Abstract: Under the guidance of Emerging Engineering Education, the aim of biomedical engineering is to cultivate high-quality talents of both engineering and medicine.Based on the context of medical colleges, we have tried to innovate and reform the teaching of the principles of medical instruments by using Chao xing, the online teaching platform, to build a mixed online and offline teaching model including the before-class, while-class and evaluation phases, which enables students to study on line on their own and thus reduces half of offline class hours. After a cycle of teaching practice, the analysis of test papers and the results of questionnaires show that this teaching model can effectively mobilize the students' learning autonomy, improve the quality of teaching and promote the cultivation of professional talents.
