Abstract: The reform of new curriculum and the qualification of teachers have put forward new requirements for the cultivation of geography normal students. This paper analyzes the problems existing in the cultivation of normal college students, such as: normal college pay close attention to theory rather than practice, scientific study rather than teaching, the teaching skills of normal college students are poor, the ability of knowledge application is low, and they can't reflect on teaching, etc., and puts forward some corresponding measures, such as strengthening the control of educational practice, paying attention to ability cultivation, establishing graduate's professor institution, etc., to cultivate the teaching of normal college students Teachers' professional feelings and sense of social responsibility.
