Abstract: Mental health and educational strategies of adolescents from divorced families have attracted much attention. Based on the qualitative research paradigm, qualitative data were collected and analyzed by case-control study, targeted sampling and thematic analysis to understand the impact of parents' divorce on adolescent mental health. The results show that parents' divorce is not the direct cause of adolescents' psychological problems. Life adjustment of divorced parents and social support of divorced families are important factors affecting the mental health of adolescents. This paper argues that the negative influence of parents' divorce on their children is limited, and puts forward the countermeasures of mental health education for divorced families based on the system theory.
