Abstract: Taking into account the training of high quality talents under the framework of universal education has become an important issue in undergraduate teaching in art colleges and universities, and the cultivation of top talents has become a breakthrough to improve the teaching quality. Since 2015, the printmaking experiment project of Guangxi Academy of Arts has explored the top talent training mode with painting specialty characteristics, adhered to the creative orientation and mentor system training, carried out the characteristic teaching of "exhibition, talk, view, society" and so on, established a more complete training mode of painting top talent, and better transported high quality talents for the society.
