Abstract: The variation theory is an important learning theory all over the world. It is a new topic to combine the teaching of high school Chinese reading with the theory of change. This paper introduces the teaching idea and learning method of the theory of change into the teaching of Chinese novel reading in senior high school, expecting to explore a new teaching way for the teaching of Chinese novel reading in senior high school and even for the whole reading study.
