Research on the Modular Curriculum Construction of “International Chinese Teaching Ability” for Undergraduate Students of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages

Abstract: “Teaching ability of international Chinese language” is the core ability that international Chinese teacher should possess. The courses involved in this ability module occupy a central position in the whole curriculum system. It is a core skill modular curriculum group in Chinese international education major. Based on the guiding ideology of “catalogue of undergraduate majors in Colleges and universities” and “national standards for teaching quality of undergraduate majors in colleges and universities”, and taking ‘standards for teachers of Chinese to speakers of other languages’ as the construction standard, this paper puts forward the following suggestions: to construct the modular ability goal of modular curriculum, to construct the modular unit framework of the curriculum, to implement the modular curriculum teaching, to construct the teaching staff and to construct the teaching staff modular curriculum teaching quality comprehensive assessment mode as the construction path.
