Abstract: In recent years, online open courses have become more and more popular, becoming a convenient way for learners to acquire various types of knowledge. More and more colleges and universities have begun to independently construct online open courses. Colleges and universities can create superior courses through the construction of online open courses and realize the sharing of high-quality teaching resources; they can comprehensively deepen the integration and innovation of information technology and education and teaching, and promote the teaching reform of universities; they can also improve teachers' online teaching skills and cultivate students' online learning capabilities. This article firstly analyzes the significance of the construction of online open courses in colleges and universities; secondly, it expounds the practice of online open courses of "Principles of Management" of Hongshan College. Thirdly, it summarizes the measures for the construction of online open courses in colleges and universities. Finally, the enlightenment of the construction of online open courses in universities is drawn.
