Abstract: With the rapid development of information technology, the new media in the "micro era" has become an important position for ideological and cultural activities. It is diverse, iterative, multi-cultural, covering many facets. It also provides a new carrier for building ideological and cultural positions in higher vocational schools, posing great challenges to the traditional way. Faced with the problems of content, system and personnel in the construction of the positions, higher vocational schools should analyze the new situation, infusing students' "micro-life" in the content construction, building "micro-system" in the development of the positions, and enhancing the “micro-power” of management in the team development. Therefore, the education of ideology and culture among college students will be more targeted and effective with the characteristic of this era.
