Exploration of Curriculum Ideological and Political Teaching under the Background of New Engineering --A Case Study of Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Manufacturing Course

Abstract: Ideological and political education is an important front for colleges and universities to adhere to the socialist direction in running schools. It is particularly important to strengthen the design and integration of ideological and political education and teaching links of professional courses, and to implement the spirit of important speeches made by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the National Conference on ideological and political Work in colleges and universities, the National Education Conference and the symposium of teachers of ideological and political theory courses in schools. The curriculum ideological and political teaching reform is integrated into the teaching process of Artificial intelligence and Intelligent Manufacturing, which reflects the return of educational value rationality. This paper combines the content characteristics of artificial intelligence and intelligent manufacturing courses, discusses the teaching design concept and method of integrating professional courses into ideological and political work, and helps college students establish correct world outlook, outlook on life and values, establish and practice Socialist Core Values. The teaching plan design of this paper is an important attempt to carry out the ideological and political reform of professional curriculum under the background of new engineering, and has reference significance to the teaching reform of other new engineering curriculum.
