The Performance Appraisal and Reward Mechanism of College Counselors in Qinghai Province

Abstract: College counselors are the main force to carry out the ideological and political education of college students. Colleges and universities in Qinghai Province have formulated different assessment schemes and reward mechanisms under the guidance of "Regulations on the construction of counselors' team in ordinary colleges and universities" (Decree No. 43 of the Ministry of Education). This paper takes the evaluation form and reward mechanism of College Counselors in Qinghai Province as the research object, analyzes the shortcomings of the current evaluation system, and puts forward suggestions for the performance evaluation and reward mechanism of College Counselors in Qinghai Province: through the establishment of a five in one evaluation mechanism, the establishment of an incentive mechanism combining explicit and implicit rewards, returning to the main work of counselors and building a The system of rewards and punishments with the unity of responsibility and right can play an important role in the assessment and encouragement of counselors.
