Thinking for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education in Applied Technology Colleges

Abstract: “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” are the eternal driving forces for social progress and the sources of social development. Our country attaches great importance to innovation and entrepreneurship education for college students and gives strong support in all aspects. In order to meet the students’ needs and the needs of personnel cultivation, a college must make well its overall planning at the top level, at the same time all related sectors of society need to work together. This paper sheds some light on relevant questions based on students' attitude, opinions and needs for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Four aspects must be thought: the needs of the subjects of education and the overall framework of the college, the construction of innovation and entrepreneurship education system, the guidance of discipline and professional competitions, and the utilization of mass innovation space platform.
