Abstract: Linear algebra is an important basic course for students of engineering colleges in our country. This article compares the differences between the University of Central Florida in the United States and domestic undergraduate universities from the three aspects of linear algebra course textbook content, teaching process, and assessment methods. Through comparative analysis, some suggestions on linear algebra teaching in our country are put forward. It is necessary to deepen the reform of teaching materials, supplement the appropriate amount of practical teaching knowledge, combine information technology, innovate teaching methods, adopt a diversified teaching evaluation system, and cultivate comprehensively developed talents.
