A Study on the SPOC Teaching Mode of Information Retrieval Course in Colleges and Universities under the Background of "Internet Plus"

Abstract: With the concept of "Internet +" proposed and gradually deepened, traditional university teaching has faced a new challenge. In this context, through active exploration and innovation, SPOC teaching mode is introduced into the information retrieval courses in colleges and universities to promote the in-depth teaching reform. However, many teachers are not familiar with this teaching mode, which leads to many problems in practical application and makes it difficult to effectively play the role of SPOC teaching mode. Based on this, this paper first gives a brief overview of the connotation of SPOC teaching mode, then analyzes the characteristics of SPOC teaching mode, and finally, combining with the actual situation under the background of "Internet +", puts forward the construction strategy of SPOC teaching mode for college information retrieval course, so as to provide reference for the future course construction and development.
