Abstract: With the rapid change of the times, the practice of humanistic care in the work of counselors in independent colleges is also facing new challenges. At present, college students are generally "after 90" and" after 00". On the one hand, their own distinctive personality characteristics make their general thoughts more active, and gradually tend to be diversified and differentiated in terms of values. At the same time, they are mostly only children, with very public personality characteristics, like to express and express themselves, advocate freedom, self-discipline needs to be strengthened. On the other hand, these new generation college students have many problems in psychological level, which is generally fragile compared with the previous generation. Therefore In this process, humanistic care ability belongs to the important ability that independent college counselors should possess. How to effectively improve their humanistic care ability to promote the guidance of students' psychological level has become the focus of current research.
