Factors Influencing the Counterpart Employment of Undergraduate Students Majoring in Preschool Education

Abstract: The supply of high-quality preschool teachers is inseparable from the cultivation of preschool education major and the employment of graduates. Faced with the problem of high loss rate of preschool normal students, this paper analyzes the unfavorable factors that affect the employment of preschool education graduates through questionnaire survey and individual interview. The individual level includes non-first major selection, passive learning attitude, lack of effective career planning, employment pursuit of establishment status. The level of colleges and universities involves biased curriculum, shocking education practice experience, employment guidance with little help. The social level includes the traditional concept of "looking after children", the recruitment standard focusing on skills, and few recruitment quota, low salary, etc. Finally, some suggestions are put forward to improve the employment of preschool graduates.
