Abstract: Application-oriented, market-oriented and ability-oriented, application-oriented talent training is integrated with ideological and political education to form a scientific and reasonable talent training model. The transformation and development of local universities is the historical trend of higher education reform. The innovation of talent cultivation can guide the rational orientation of the school after the transformation. From the perspective of application-oriented personnel training, ideological and political theory curriculum practice system is the only choice and paradigm choice for curriculum reform. For contemporary universities, talent training is the core of education, and curriculum innovation is the foundation of talent training. Therefore, this paper takes the exploration of ideological and political theory courses as the research point, and puts forward the strategies of optimizing content, innovating methods, and perfecting the practical teaching of process management and evaluation, so as to improve the training of applied talents.
