Abstract: Dormitory serves as an important space for college students to study and live, is the place where college students study and live for the longest time on campus. College student’s dormitory civilization construction helps to create a good dormitory atmosphere, improves college students’ comprehensive quality and promotes the campus spiritual civilization construction. In view of the three main problems existing in the dormitory of college students, that is, the hardware facilities need to be improved, the management mechanism needs to be strengthened, and the students' Ideological and behavioral deviation. By implementing the school’s unique concept “ Great Love for Education” throughout the dormitory civilization construction project activities, Xiamen City University has developed educational functions of the activity like guidance and waiting, strict constraints, psychological shape, support training and group accompany; it has also carried out the activity in a deep-going way by four approaches, achieving remarkable results.
