Study on the Models of Innovative and Entrepreneurial Talents’ Training based on "the Integration of Competition and Education" ——Take Tongji University as An Example

Abstract: Since Premier Li Keqiang formally proposed to promote "Mass entrepreneurship and innovation" at the summer Davos Forum in September 2014, the general office of the State Council has issued a number of documents, clearly proposing to deepen the innovation and entrepreneurship education reform in universities. In order to effectively promote the innovation and entrepreneurship education reform, universities actively explore the training mode of innovation and entrepreneurship talents based on competition. At present, innovation and entrepreneurship competition has become an important content of innovation and entrepreneurship education in universities and an important method of innovation and entrepreneurship talents training, especially the China International Internet Plus Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and Challenge Cup series competition have played important roles in promoting the profound transformation of talent cultivation paradigm in universities. Based on the experience of Tongji University in the innovation and entrepreneurship education reform, this paper explores the training path of innovation and entrepreneurship talents under the mode of "the Integration of Competition and Education", and provides inspiring ideas and experience for deepening the innovation and entrepreneurship education reform.
