Abstract: With the acceleration of the urbanization process, it not only brings opportunities for the transformation and development of continuing education and community education in colleges and universities, but also brings great challenges. Making full use of the resources of continuing education in colleges and universities to develop community education is an inevitable demand and social obligation for the development of education in today's society. The purpose of continuing education is to serve the society and the community. It is feasible in both theory and practice to integrate the continuing education and community education with the five development concepts. The integrated development of the two countries can jointly promote each other's effective development, but it should follow the principles of win-win cooperation, mutual benefit and integration of local conditions. Starting from the overview of continuing education and community education in colleges and universities, this paper analyzes the five concepts of their integrated development, and on this basis puts forward four modes and strategies for their mutually beneficial development, hoping to provide some reference.
