Abstract: Under today's background of "Knowledge Economy", the employment of university students is one of the important indicators of the evaluation system of higher education institutions; it is also closely related to the ability and quality of university students on the employment aspect. To cultivate high-quality "well-rounded" talents, Liberal Arts Education, as an educational concept originated from the West, was introduced and implemented by a few Chinese universities in recent years. What does Liberal Arts Education actually bring to Chinese university students? How do they translate and apply it during their transitions to society? A small-scale, in-depth investigation of a Sino-foreign university found that, the various abilities cultivated by Liberal Arts Education have had positive impact and edification on students' employability; it has laid a solid foundation for them on the layers of gaining initial employment, improving workplace performance, enhancing employment opportunities and strengthening humanistic concerns, etc. These labor market outcomes are inextricably linked to the "well-roundedness" promoted by Liberal Arts Education.
