Abstract: Under the influence of the development of new media, great changes have taken place in the social demand for talents. Market competition needs talents with high technology and excellent ideological and political literacy. However, vocational and technical colleges teach the application of information technology in ideological and political education, which not only conforms to the concept of talent training, but also meets the needs of social competition. In view of this, this paper makes a simple analysis of the current situation of ideological and political education in vocational and technical colleges, and then analyzes the advantages of new media in ideological and political education in vocational and technical colleges, and then puts forward the innovative strategies for the application of new media technology in ideological and political education, for the reference and exchange of relevant people.
