Abstract: In the past, some higher vocational colleges only focused on professional skill education and paid insufficient attention to the cultivation of students' comprehensive quality. As a result, many students encountered employment problems after graduation due to the lack of comprehensive quality. In view of the shortcomings of this previous kind of education, modern researchers believe that higher vocational education should be employment-oriented so that students' comprehensive quality can be improved and more in line with the requirements of the post, which has been widely accepted in the field of modern higher vocational education. Ideological and moral character is an important part of comprehensive quality and plays a leading role. It is of great significance to innovate the mode of moral education and explore how to give full play to the role of moral education in comprehensive quality cultivation. Therefore, this paper will study an employment-oriented moral education mode in higher vocational education, and elaborate on the role, application ideas and methods of this mode.
