Abstract: Objective: to analyze the employment status, postgraduate entrance examination and its influencing factors of medical imaging graduates, so as to provide guidance for their employment. Methods: a self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the employment status of 2013-2018 medical imaging graduates in our province, and analyze their employment status and postgraduate entrance examination. Results: the initial employment rate of 500 graduates from 2013 to 2018 reached 97.00%, 96.00%, 94.00%, 92.00% and 88.00% respectively. The corresponding employment rate was higher than that of other majors(P<0.05), but the employment rate still showed a downward trend. The employment flow of graduates has changed from single to diversified, but it mainly focuses on imaging. Among them, 80% of the students choose to work in medical institutions, 10% choose to work in teaching, 6% take part in postgraduate entrance examination, 3% go abroad, and the remaining 1% are unemployed. Conclusion: for medical imaging graduates, their employment prospects are broad and their job satisfaction is high, but some of them still tend to take the postgraduate entrance examination. The primary task of the school is to strengthen the practical ability training of students.
