Abstract: One of the important reasons for the unsatisfactory teaching effect of health law courses in China's hospitals is that the health law courses are not scientifically set up according to the characteristics of the medical colleges and universities. Optimizing the design of health law courses in medical colleges and universities in China will help to improve the quality of teaching and meet the professional needs of students. In view of the actual situation of the major in medical colleges and universities in China, the corresponding health law courses should be designed on the basis of distinguishing the three basic types of medical major, law major and other major in medical colleges and universities.
