Abstract: The health and elderly care industry in Yunnan Province is developing rapidly, but the problem of imbalance between the supply and demand of talents is prominent, which restricts the further upgrading of the industry. This paper deeply analyzes the current situation of the supply and demand of health and elderly care talents in Yunnan Province, discusses the necessity and feasibility of school-local collaborative development, constructs the mode of school-local collaborative development and clarifies the role orientation and collaborative mechanism of the rele vant government department, higher vocational colleges, enterprises and social organizations, and puts forward the corresponding development paths and strategies, aiming to accurately cultivate talents for the health and elderly care industry in Yunnan, promote the continuous and healthy development of the industry and help Yunnan build a healthy living destination.
