Abstract: With the development of social economy, the popularization rate of higher education has significantly increased, but at the same time, the difficulty of employment for college graduates has also increased. In this situation, the cultivation of innovation and entrepreneurship literacy among vocational college students has positive significance for students, colleges, and society. This article first elaborates on the importance of cultivating core competencies of vocational college students guided by innovation and entrepreneurship, and then constructs a mechanism for cultivating core competencies of vocational college students based on innovation and entrepreneurship orientation, hoping to provide some reference for the cultivation of core competencies of vocational college students.
