Abstract: The integration of skills competition and vocational education is an effective way to promote the reform and innovation of talent cultivation mode. This paper analyzes the difficulties and problems faced by talent cultivation in higher vocational colleges in the process of“integration of competition and education,”refines the core concept of“integration of competition and education,”puts forward the mode of“eight integrations and four guarantees,”formulates the implementation path of“integration of competition and education”talent cultivation, highlights the work-study integration, and emphasizes the importance on vocational skills and professionalism, order to provide reference for higher vocational colleges to cultivate high-quality and high-skilled talents.
