Abstract: The article analyzes the current status of talent cultivation in foreign language and foreign trade, clarifies the goals of talent cultivation, and proposes countermeasures such as the deep integration of innovation and entrepreneurship education with professional courses, practical training through“dual bases + dual projects,”construction of a“dual mentor”teaching team, and deepening the community of shared destiny between colleges and enterprises. These measures provide systematic guarantees for effectively cultivating innovative and entrepreneurial talents with compound skills in foreign language and foreign trade, effectively meeting the urgent needs of regional economic high-quality development for innovative talents. They also promote students to seek personal career planning and entrepreneurial development based on the knowledge they have acquired, improve the teaching quality of foreign language and foreign trade majors, and enhance students'core competitiveness.
