Abstract: The development of science and technology plays an important role in promoting economic development and social progress. As an important component of higher education, application-oriented undergraduate universities aim to cultivate application-oriented talents that are in line with industrial needs, and promote technological innovation and industrial development. Research management is one of the important tasks of applied undergraduate universities, which is of great significance for improving research level and promoting the integration of industry, academia, research and application. From the perspective of collaborative innovation, the research management model of applied undergraduate universities also needs to be reformed. Based on this, the author of this article elaborates on the innovative paths of applied undergraduate university research management models from different perspectives of collaborative innovation.
