Abstract: With the continuous deepening of the supply-side structural reform, in the new era, we need to vigorously implement the innovation driven development strategy. Innovation and entrepreneurship ability is one of the necessary skills for higher vocational students. Actively promoting innovation and entrepreneurship education is an important task of the reform of higher vocational colleges, which puts forward a new topic for the cultivation of innovative talents in vocational colleges. This paper analyzes the problems of entrepreneurship and innovation education in vocational colleges, and puts forward the training mechanism of entrepreneurship and innovation talents based on classroom and competition in vocational colleges. It is also necessary to establish a platform for practice and innovation, integrate competition and teaching curriculum system, and perfect the talent training guarantee system.
