Abstract: The strategy of rural vitalization is a important strategy for nation. Constructing beautiful countryside and pleasant living environment need lots of application-oriented talents in landscape major. The organic integration of ecology and landscape architecture is conducive to the healthy development of landscape architecture industry and the cultivation of innovative and applied talents. Aiming at the problem of low integration with ecology in the landscape architecture specialty, this paper, according to the training idea of “inheritance, characteristics, innovation and practice”, through the comprehensive reform of the curriculum system, knowledge system and practical skills system, strengthens the ecological concept education and practical innovation ability training of students, and forms a distinctive training mode of compound application-oriented senior talents in the landscape architecture specialty.
