Abstract: With the continuous deepening of educational reform, modern educational ideas show a good development trend. All kinds of innovative, scientific and strategic educational ideas play a very important supporting role in educational work and lay a solid ideological foundation for innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities. However, some colleges and universities have not deeply realized the positive role of modern educational ideas in carrying out innovation and entrepreneurship education, it needs attention and serious improvement. This paper studies and discusses this, based on the analysis of the positive role of modern educational ideas on innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities, this paper focuses on the problems existing in innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities under modern educational ideas, and finally puts forward optimization countermeasures on how to use modern educational ideas to promote the reform, innovation and development of innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities.
