Abstract: The ideological and political education work of counselors in the micro era presents new development characteristics. In order to play an important role in the ideological and political education work of counselors in the micro era, counselors need to strengthen the role cognition of their executors, and fully participate in the innovation of ideological and political education work combined with information technology. The micro era of rapid development of information technology has brought opportunities for counselors' ideological and political education. How to promote the development of counselors' ideological and political education in the micro era has become a problem that counselors need to think seriously. Based on this, on the basis of analyzing the challenges brought by the micro era to the ideological and political education of counselors, combined with the innovative characteristics of the ideological and political education of counselors in the micro era, this paper puts forward some innovative strategies on the ideological and political education of counselors in the micro era, so as to promote the optimized development of the ideological and political education of counselors in the micro era.
