Abstract: In recent years, block chain has attracted the attention of all countries in the world, and China has designated it as a national strategic technology in 2019. The application of block chain technology in technological innovation, industrial change and social governance is increasing and the scope is expanding. Because the defects of traditional database are becoming more and more obvious, it cannot meet the requirements of fine and intelligent management of daily education and teaching in colleges and universities. Based on this, this paper introduces the basic operation mode of block chain and expounds the problems faced by traditional university education and teaching data management, summarizes the application status and challenges of block chain technology in university education and teaching, analyzes the feasibility of block chain technology integration in university education and teaching data management. Finally, the rationalization solution is proposed to make blockchain technology play an important role in the field of education management.
