Research on the Teaching Method of the Elective Course of Design for Urban Sculpture Major under the Background of Fine Arts

Abstract: In the "double first-class construction" of colleges, it is proposedto formulate interdisciplinary personnel training programs, and explore theestablishment of a new mechanism of high-level compound personnel training with excellent political skills, urgent needs of the industry and outstanding capabilities. As a bridge of training talents across disciplines, professional elective courses play an important role in the expansion of knowledge and the connection of students and society. However, at present, there are some problems in the construction of elective courses, especially in the course system and teaching methods of interdisciplinary elective courses which are closely linked with professional courses. Therefore, based on the perspective of practice, this paper puts forward the reform strategy for the design elective course of urban sculpture specialty. Based on the Discipline Training Mode of "Art + Design + practice",it builds a teaching mode of elective courses for sculpture and environmental design specialty, and optimizes teaching and curriculum reform strategies such as teaching links were discussed.
