Abstract: Innovative development in medical education serves as the fundamental driving force for advancing the nation's health and healthcare initiatives. Integrating specialization with innovation can significantly enhance medical students'capabilities in innovation and entrepreneurship. This paper takes the teaching reform of the distinctive Zhuang medicine innovation and entrepreneurship course offered in the Jinming National Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine Class as an example. It innovatively implements an integrated teaching model that combines learning with training and promotes innovation through competitions. The paper demonstrates pathways for cultivating innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities among undergraduate Zhuang medicine students through setting course objectives and content, innovating PBL and project-driven teaching methods, integrating the “learning-training-competition”practice phases, and establishing a multi-dimensional evaluation and continuous improvement mechanism. This approach promotes the high-quality development of Zhuang medicine talent.
