Abstract: Driven by the dual demands of education reform and industry development in the new era, artificial intelligence brings new challenges and opportunities to design education, especially the profound impact of digital transformation on the teaching mode, content, and methods of design courses in higher vocational education. This article deeply analyzes the unique advantages of modular teaching system in stimulating innovation potential, skill improvement, and information utilization of interior design students under the background of digital transformation. It proposes a modular teaching implementation path suitable for interior design courses, constructs a“school-enterprise”dual platform +“first-order”dual module teaching model, and implements the“one three five”teaching mode. Taking the teaching practice of interior space computer rendering course as an example, it further explores the innovative path and practical value of modular teaching in interior design courses.
